Has anyone ever put any mods on your Sable? If so, what was it and how much did it help? Just curious.

 

cold air intake on 03 sable 3.0 duratec. smoothes out power band on passing from 60-80

 

I'm wondering if better exhaust would help along with the intake....and if it did..what kind would be best.

 

Yes,exhaust does help,considering that your engine is basically a fuel controlled air pump. The more air you let in,the more you let out,the better it will perform. Just be cautious that an increase of too large proportions will result in a run too lean condition. A cat back system designed for ford contour/mercury mystiqe will work well with the tarus/sable with slight ,if any, mods.
