Power Seat will not move forward

Hi,
I am looking for anyone to help me with a 91' Mercury Sable with driver side power seat that does not work. My tall friend drove & put it back now I being shorter cannot move it back up. Is there anyway to manually move forward or do I need to figure it out electrically.
