Sable Tran Problem

I have a 97 Sable and the transmission is slipping when shifting from second to third gear especially after it warms up. Anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this?

probably just a mid to late 90''s usual defective Ford elec o/d transaxle. very unreliable.

Yep, sounds like you will be rebuilding that tranny if you want to keep the car on the road.
