I backed out from under the garage to wash the car and it was working fine, never had any problems before. When I started to pull back in the trans would not work in any gear. What could have caused this all of a sudden?

Whatcauses this problem is that you might be low on your tranny fluid. What color is the fluid is it red or brown. Look in the floor for leaks. Check your tranny fluid and make sure it is up to par. If you have a big leak then your seal is broken/loose and that is a problem due to you will have to drop your tranny for repairs. Or, if no leaks are involved then check your fluid level. Iffluid are low then add to the proper level. In order to get the proper reading in your fluidit must be hot. In other words you must drive it for around 15/20 miles before you can getgood reading of your fluid. Also what year is your car and what tranny do you have. Front or rear wheel drive. The more info on the car the better it is. Hope this helps you.

The fluid was full, no leaks anywhere, and no burnt smell. Are there any pressure valves that could have went out causing this? Could the pump go out suddenly to stop working? Any fuses to blow? I''m lost and need to get back running as soon as possible.
