Transmission solenoid pack replacement?

My wife's '95 Sable has run flawlessly for 170k miles.
After getting sluggish for a week the tranny won't go into high
gear. Flushed the transmission and got superb shifting in
all other gears. One guy on the web says this means the
solenoid's bad. Any idea if this repair ever gets done, by whom
