I have a 1999 cougar with a 2.5 auto. I keep blowing the fuel pump fuse. Should I change the pump or first try changing the fuel pressure regulator? When the issue first started if I changed the inline fuel filter the problem would go away for a month or so. Thought maybe this relieved pressure in the system for a time????
