Trying to find the cig. lighter fuse on my ''91 Capri. Checked all the fuses under the dash above my left foot but all check OK.

Help?

are you sure it''s a fuse problem? have you checked the wiring? Is the cig lighter rusted/corroded?

The lighter never gets used. I wanted to plug in an inverter to power a laptop. It is also tied to the power locks. There is no lock switch inside. When you unlock or lock one lock, the other lock would actuate. Neither has worked since the lighter stopped working so I suppose they share the same circut.

or they share the same ground to the chassis and that bolt has come loose. if all the fuses check out, you may have to do some wire chasing.
