2000 Cougar keyless entry??

Hope someone can help. First off, my wife has a 2000 cougar 4 banger and Im not sure if it comes with keyless entry? Do all Cougars have keyless entry? We got no remotes when we bought it from a private seller. Im an aircraft electrician by trade so I will have no difficulties installing an aftermarket kit. I WOULD however like to know if her cougar does not come stock with keyless entry, if anyone has a wiring diagram or knows where the best place to tap into the parking lights/ door locks without running wires from one end of the car to the other. If there is a stock plug for a keyless entry "upgrade" in her car, where is it and which pins are for what. Any information would be very helpful!! Thanks in advance....boa

to tell you the truth, I got a 1999 Mercury Cuogar, bought it from a used car dealership and mine came with a keyless entry.
