I can't seem to find the connector for my OBD scanning tool. My Haynes manual says it is in the engine compartment, forward of the left stut tower. My Helm manual just defers me to power train control manual. I also checked under the dash but just can't track it down.


Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

i have a 97 cougar bostonian edition....and mine is under the dash on the passendger side....more towards the center console....it is visible if u look hard enough lol but really its there...its prolly bout 1/2 an inch by 1 1/2 inches rectangular.....hope that helps
