hey does anyone know how many miles a cougar can go up to? I've mostly heard that american cars don't go too far past 100,000. I'd appreciate the info, cuz i need to know whether or not i should sell it since it already has a good 57,000. I have a 02'.

with proper care and preventive maintanence (most importantly , on time oil changes with a good oil) it will last you long past 100,000 miles.

You can go past the 100,000 mile mark provided you take care of your cougar.
