My sister lives thousands of miles away in Las Vegas, and recently ran into some car trouble. she took it in for diagnostics, and they said the 2nd cylinder has no compression, probably a cracked block. Is there any other causes for loss of compression? I wish I could check it out myself but as I said I'm too far away. Is there any solution other than replacing the engine, as they are recommending her do.


Anyone got any prices for all of this?
