Default 1999 mountaineer blown subwoofer

I have a 1999 mountaineer with a blown subwoofer. can anybody possibly tell me what i can do. I have the premium sound system. Is there any way I can get his repaired without putting big boxes all over my trunk or re-wiring my entire audio system. I would prefer to get a new aftermarket subwoofer (alpine, pioneer...), but I would be ok with replacing it with a stock one. Can anybodydy give me advise?

If it is just the stock subwoofer that came with the prem. audio, you can replace it w/just about any brand you want. (as long as it's the same size and wattage of course) If you want a factory replacement then try some junkyards or ebay, etc. Then it is as easy as removing some trim, unplugging and unbolting the old, and reverse process with the new. Good luck.
