We need more info -- Are both cars of the same model ?? Does either or both cars have ABS ??

I have done a COMPLETE Front Suspension rebuild/update/modification to the 95 MERC, using both stock and aftermarket components.
The suspension was modified for long-distance, high-speed cruising through the mountains of the desert Southwest.
In your case, I can chase down the swapable parts -- and report back.
