My Mercury mariner has a 2 din factorycar stereo. I purchased a new stereo, and try to put it in but it is too big for the slot. Looks like about an eighth of an inch. I don't know if I need to take the dashboard A part or what. If I do have to take the dashboard off, what is the best way of doing it without destroying my car? I don't have a lot of experience with doing this

 

When in doubt, take your Mariner to a Professional Installer. You'll be MUCH better off in the long run !!
