Default Front Rotors + Rear Drum to Disc

My 2000 Sable 3.0L has pronounced steering wheel shimmy when breaking; I'm assuming the rotors are bad. Since I'll be replacing the rotors, I've read there is a "brake upgrade" for the 2000 Sable/Taurus and I'd like to make this "upgrade". The specifications for the 2000 Sable notes rotors are 10.9" diameter. I have also read rotors may be 11.57". Is this the "upgrade" or is it something else? Can I install the 11.57” rotors on my 2000 Sable without changing the calipers or will new calipers be required? I'll be changing the pads with the rotor replacement. Regarding calipers, I've read standard calipers for the 2000 Sable/Taurus is part DN101/G3 and that part FN74 is an "upgrade". What is the difference? Also, how complex/involved is it to change the current rear drum brakes to rear disc brakes?

How much these rotors costs? I have bought a mariner but in my old vehicle I am facing that rotor problem and I think I also have to change that.
