I'm fixing up an 89 cougar that hit a honda on it's front right corner. When ever I accelerate, there is a spuratic inconsistant metal on metal grinding noise. I checked my alternator and radiator fans, but they are free and clear. A tech at a local shop rode in it with me for a second and set it is probably a bracket somewhere that isn't holding on to something well. Anyone head of this sort of thing?
