My girlfriend has a 2000 Cougar w/ 28000 miles and everytime i ride w/ her and she exceeds 70mph, this horrible smell(rotten eggs) fills the car. Do you have any idea what this might be and how to fix this, Information would be very appreciated. Thanks.

 

I am almost 100% positiveshe needs a catalytic converter.When they go it smells like rotten eggs.
