Good morning everyone,
I just bought my first Grand Marquis. It is a 2003 and so far I love the car. However this morning on the way to work, the interior lights would come on and then go off and the door locks would cycle when ever I took my foot off the brake. And I just noticed that the auto headlights are just staying on all the time. They only turn off when I turn the key off. Someone mentioned the Lighting control module,I know there is a recall on that but would that affect the lcoks? Thanks for any insight on this.

 

Don't panic !!
Remove the NEG (-) battery terminal.
Clean both battery terminals with a wire brush.
Fill battery to proper level.
Put battery on SLOW charge (less than 10 amps).
When fully charged, replace battery cables (Negative LAST!)
If problem remains, replace the Lighting Control Module.
