I have a 1986 marquis. I need new tail lights. The ones currently installed are mis-matched. One was replaced after a fender bender and i could not finda match. I also need the rear labels. mercury and marquis. Does anyone have any idea where i can get these items?

 

if you can''t source them through a dealer, you may have to resort to junk yard searches. everdrive.com has some high prices but usually has the parts. The decals you will probably have to source through a dealer or get a collision repair shop to help you source the parts.

 

You are probably not going to want to use the dealer for the lamps. The 83-87 Marquis tail light assembly lists for $269.11 for each side. The dealer will likely be the only place you can get replacement badges.

 

But I did find a couple of used ones on ebay.

for our older cars, the junkyard becomes the part store for stuff you cant get at the real part store. many useful parts can be found
