2000 GMarquis stalled and won't start.
Was turning around on a backroad, made a 3 point turn (in a ditch) and engine stalled as soon as I was straight again. The car has 140K miles, and I didn't get it tilted to more than 20 degrees oro so. So far I have checked the fuses, power distribution box, fuel pump reset switch... Put a full tank 2 days ago and have 1/2 a tank left. Can hear the fuel rails and pump power up when key is turned. Held a red rag soaked with gas over the intake and no change whatsoever, so I am reasonably sure that it's not a fuel problem (similar to running ether but safer for the engine.) Happened late at night and haven't had a chance to check anything else, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Previously the car had no issue whatsoever, would start on 3rd crank and was excellent in any temperature. Thanks in advance.
Update... Was sure it wasn't fuel but only had my limited troubleshooting skills to tell me that, nothing I could measure. The fuel rail test port is pushing right above 35psi... which is perfect, so it's got to be fire... Help, please?
