This car ran fine till this morning. When i turn the key, the engine starts but the engine dies immediately after i release the key. I am assuming it has fuel to injection system. It starts every time i try it, but then dies. I can hear the fuel pump start when i turn key to on position. I have a fuel pressure gauge and tools to fix it but i don"t know where to start. I checked the reset button in the trunk but the red button was not in up position. Any info i could get as to what could be the problem would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance for your time. Chuck
BTW, this is my first post on this site and i want to say hello.

We purchased this car about 2 months ago. The previous owners were meticulous about oil changes and maintenance. I'll check and see if it has been changed. (They kept a detailed log of all repair and maintenance) I tried to start it again yesterday and it started on the second try and ran great. I told my girlfriend not to go anywhere she could be stranded in it. I'll pick up a fuel filter when i'm in town today. If it fails to start again i'll check fuel pressure. Thanks for the help.
