2003marquis blower motor
i whant to thank you for your reply i sorry i didn t get back to thankyou earlier. i found out that it is a manual system. is the resister still on the outside heater housing i dont see it.thanks yarktown
Yes it is. Right behind the passenger side cylinder head. A bear to get to & you'll think it wont come out of there but it does. 2 screws with 8mm [5/16] heads on them. IIRC you need to get a couple other components out of the way to get the resisitor out of there. Be glad you have the manual climate control. The control heads for the automatic systems go for $400+
thanks mecka nick when it stops raining and gets warmer i will ck. it out. by the way i have owned marquis for years i never had one go. figure this one is the newst. i gess there making them in china know, like everything else thanks again! dan
No prob. Have changed a couple. Usually the blower motor is the culprit but if it only works on high it's the resistor. We have them in the fleet. Pretty good cars except for heater cores or blend door motors. Keep your cooling system flushed regularely
