Default 2005 Marquis

Hello all, I am new to this site. I am a owner of a 2005 Mercury Marquis LS. I was surfing the net and saw some Crown Vics & Marquis with 2010 Mustang 18" take off wheels and tires. I have to admit those wheels/tires look much better than the stock wheels. I just bought my Marquis two weeks ago, prior to that car I owned a 2001 Lincoln Town Car. I really liked the Lincoln and it served me well however when I moved to Minnesota from Texas it started to give me problems. I guess it was use to baking in the sun in south Texas and when I brought it to the cold weather it took a dump. It was a good car nonetheless. So I traded it in for the 05 Marquis with 45k miles on it. What I noticed right off the bat that the Mercury seems to have more pep. If I'm not mistaken the 01 Lincoln and the 05 have the same HP so go figure. I always kept the Lincoln in good tune but it just didn't pull like my Marquis. As far as the wheels are concerned I went ahead and ordered a set of 2010 Mustang takeoff wheels off of ebay for $765.74 which includes shipping. That was the best price I could find on the net and I just had to have them. Also I understand that I will not have to use wheel spacers with the 05 Marquis. If I am wrong plz someone tell me. I don't have pictures of my car yet but I will take some after I install my new wheels once they arrive. Did I get a good deal on the zero mile take off wheels/tires. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated and thank you all for being a part of this fourm.....det45

you may need spacers, but check wheel well clearance first.
