Price wise, the flagship is definately a better buy.

Read this morning on the cars that were disappearing for 08 the Crown Vic and Town Car were going into fleet only sales. Nothing mentioned about the MGM though.

I have a feeling the MGM is going to be around for a while.

It still is a rather large sales part for the Ford Company.

Thanks to us, we keep them alive!

Greetings!

Sure thing. Getting almost all the options. Hey, how does the heated seats work? Are there heating coils in the heats or does hot air blow down by the butt?

not sure how those work...in imports there are heating elements i think. don't know much about domestic heated seating at all.

EDIT: I'll do some research on those heated seats and find out - get back with you

Heated seats work with heating elements, you can buy them and have them put in, but expensive.

Certain imports (the more expensive ones), some Cadillacs and an option on the Ford Windstar offer ventilated seats. I'm only aware of the imports and Cadillac for them to blow warm air as well.

That's why I don't want leather seats, warm and sticky in the summer, ice cold in the winter. Exactly the opposite way of how you want it.

But the real kick is the heated steering wheel on BMW's. That's something!

BTW: The same dealership which has this offer is asking 14k for a LS MGM. How about that! Saw one in silver, with around 12,000 miles on it. Not even broken in yet.

i got the leather, like the stuff, just like you say, cold winter hot summer but with AC in the summer or leaving the windows down it doesnt take long to cool out.

biggest advantage i like is in case of a spill easy clean up - especially if i go thru the drive-thru, since i'm not the worlds best cool ...

BTW, maybe you need to go take the LS for a spin around the block, at least you can give it a "Consumer's"report hahahah

The salesman didn't know how the seats heat.
