air intake

has anyone ever put a custom air intake system on teir grand marquis. i have a 89 gm and wonder if it changes the air/fguel mixture or something of that sort.

it wouldnt change the air/fuel mixture any...does your GM have a 5.0?

yea it does, it would be really easy just putting a 18 inch peice of 3 inch pvc and a cone filter on it......just wondering if it would change anything that wouldnt be good to change

Yes,it helps.Go to mustang forums look at their cold air intake designs.Now incorporate changes because of body design,it is pretty much straight forword.

I want to make mine MAF, well, actually, my boyfriend does. Do you think that will be hard?
