started leaking and replaced it yesterday. Finished re-assembling everything this morning. Really... did Ford HAVE to hang everything off the water pump bolts? My back is very unhappy now. Thank God for ibuprofen. At least it's not leaking now and I saved $300-400 by not taking it to a shop and got that flush done I've been meaning to do.

 

lets hope it stays leak free... many times when replacing water pump, the timing cover gasket starts leaking since the pump helps hold it in place. shoulda replaced timing chain, gears, timing cover gaskets, and the oil pan gasket to avoid later problem since you had most of it outta the wat to begin with.
