So I dont know whats up but the families 98 grand marquee has gone threw 3 brake switches in short order. The current one seems to function okay but you have to depress the pedal to the floor to get the lights to come on. Ive taken a look underneath and its obvious that theres too much play on the pin the switch sits on. As you depress the pedal you can watch the switch (harness connector side) slowly rotate upward until it doesnt make enough contact to "switch" when it should. Ive tried to zip tie the switch on the brake pedal to hold it in place (ghetto I know) and it worked for a bit but its back to its old ways after about 2-3 days. Sorry for the run on story, hopefully someones got a bright idea on how to fix this for good. TIA
