This past monday i purchased my first grand marquis. a 2000 model with 31000 original miles. belonged to and elderly lady who is in her 90's and no longer drives. the floor mats have the original plastic on them. what a sweet ride that was well taken care of. got a great deal on the merc and couldn't pass it up

 

make sure that the fuel filter, coolant, and other basic maintenance stuff was done or do now... mileage isnt only thing that affects parts... coolant gets acidic after time and fuel filters are not meant to only be changed after so many miles... thats why recommendations say change after x amount of time or x amount of miles... rather see the stuff taken care of to make sure it continues fine down the road for years to come

 

it was done at the dealership before i paid for it. i found a business card from the original dealership where the original owner bought it from. i contacted them and i now have all of the original service records for the car.
