Last week I picked up a 2001 GM with 78K on the odo. So far I love the car, I was coming from a 2008 Fusion so it is an adjustment for sure. I have the squeeky suspension I've read in other threads but what I'm more concerned about is the trans. It doesn't clunk at all but when shifting into 4th between 45-50 you can really feel it shift. It is noticible enough that my wife asked me about it. Any help would be appreciated!

i would prefer a stiffer shifting transmission over one that slides into gear... the clutches burn up easier on a transmission that slips or goes easier into next gear.
