How much is this 1993 worth?

Hey everyone.
Due to my grandmother recently passing away, we are trying to get rid of her car. It is a maroon outside and inside 1993 grand marquis. The car is in like new condition. It has been kept in the garage 90% of its life. It was bought new, and has only had one owner, my grandmother. This car only has 23000 original miles, yes, that is 23000 miles. It was only driven once a week to go play cars a couple miles down the road. The cars backseat has never been sat in, and the whole interior of the car looks like new. While the car has been started up and ran every week for the last few years, and works like new, the a/c condenser had to be replaced because it had dry rotted from lack of use. The car also has brand new tires, since the original ones had started to get flat spots from sitting. This car is in immaculate condition, and we were trying to get a ballpark figure of how much it is worth. Also, it is a XL model, with the v8 in it.

retail value for that is around $3100 according to www.kbb.com and with that kind of mileage you might be able to command about $3000 on the street for it. Private party value (which is what most informed buyers will go for) is around $2200. You may be able to get about $2500 for it. If you are in the DFW in Texas, I might be willing to take it off your hands if you still have it in a couple of months to replace the wife''s vic that is WAY up in miles (starting to push close to 200k) and is puffin smoke (prolly needs a valve job).
The only real issue will be if the transmission clutches have started to dry rot from it sitting for so long. That may be a big issue if someone wants to test drive it and it breaks down going around the block. You should also check the vacuum lines to make sure they''re in good shape as dry rot will kill the vacuum system as well.

No doubt, the car is worth more keeping than selling, you never get the KBB value, unless from someone who does not know.
Also, there is no "XL" model. GS and LS are the trims, MGM''s all have the V8 in it (YEAH).
If you look at Edmunds, the EPA rating for gas mileage for the ''92s through ''94''s is even better than later models.
If you realy want to get rid of it, check ebay. On there you can see what people are willing to pay for such a car, despite any advertised values.
