I got a 99 mgm, I was watchin the car last night and I noticed the interior lights come on and off by themselves every few minutes. they turn on for about 20 sec, turn off for about 2 min and keeps doin that. It does it when the car is locked and unlocked.....any1 have any ideas on this

 

it's supposed to do that when the locks are locked and unlocked, but it shouldn't do that on it's own. either there's something screwy with the keyfob (battery low maybe) or the remote entry system is flaking out. I'd replace the battery in the remote first since that's the cheap fix.

 

Check and make sure all the doors are latching properly.. I had a bad hinge on my 96 and it would do exactly that from time to time till I would lift and slam the door... Could also be a faulty switch in the door latch...
