hello,
I just bought car navigation/dvd to replace the car stereo in my 1998 Grand Marquis which is not working very good in Europe.

The new system needs two addition wires.
- A signal for speed
- A signal for the reverse gear

I already get these information from www.the12volt.com
SPEED SENSE|gray/black | |pin 5, gry 22P plug @ LCM *2|
is this the signal for speed ?
I don't find any information about the reverse gear signal and I don't want to put a cable through the whole car to the reverse gear lights.

Which color do this wires have and where can I find the in the car close to car stereo.

I also want to buy a remote starter and found
CrimeStopper [EZ34DPII] Remote Starter
is there any experience with this ?
do I need a bypasser for the Anti-Theft System
Is there any better system available ?

Please excuse by bad technical language. I'm a foreigner and not very common with this stuff
