Default Will a 2000 F150 CD player work in a 2000 Grand Marquis?

Proud owner of my 2000 Grand Marquis, however I need to update my stereo. I had an aux tape that worked good until my tape player tapped out. I wanted to keep my car original and put a CD player in it since I haven’t found an fm transmitter to my approval. I went to the junkyard to find a ford CD player. Found one from an explorer, seemed like a perfect fit however would have to cut the duct to fit all the way in so I kept searching. Found one from a van, it fit but the connectors were different. I noticed the slope of the one that fit and did some research. I do not want to order one and it not work because from the pictures it looks like it would work but I just want to be sure. The part number is 1L3F-18L869-AA. I have seen a lot of other brands that are similar and would work, I just really want the original, factory look. I do not drive this car everyday, and did not want to invest in a double din or anything aftermarket. Not sure if a mustang CD player is sloped or the connectors would fit, but I just need some sure cars so I can look for them. Junkyard searching has not helped me because It’s nearly impossible to find CD players.
