There is a growing shortage of used cars, and prices are skyrocketing, making it nearly impossible to find a Marauder for a decent price.
Although a Marauder is not a true Classic, they are very much sought after because of their uniqueness and performance characteristics.
Couldn't find a REAL Marauder, so I decided to improvise, starting with a totally RUST-FREE Marquis GS and modifying the suspension, brakes, and running gear for performance, safety, and reliability.
It took several years and a lot of research and wrenching to produce the 95 MERC, but it has been a joy and a definate learning experience.
Now with 170,000 miles on the clock, the 95 MERC is still running clean and strong -- 16 City -- 24 Hi-way.
