2000 miles ontheMariner hybrid and the passinger airbag light is always saying it is off. When setting in the passinger seat I brought it to the upright position and moved it forward like the manual says but it still says it's off. Any ideas that I could try before having them look at it?

 

How much do you weigh? There has to be at least 105 lbs in the passenger seat in order to turn the air bag on. I would defiently get that checked as it is a saftey issue.

170lbs I went over the trouble shoot section of the manual about moving the back up but it never turned on. We'll put it on our list of things to check during service. Thanks for the help anyway.
