I have ordered the K&N Filter and a MAF adapter from CTA Motorsports. I installed the same things on my 99 Contour SE Sport, so this will be very familiar. I hope to keep the stock airbox; we'll see if it fits.

hmm..ive never seen a stock air box with a K&N filter setup...are you just using a drop in filter, or an actual cold air intake?

As I know next to nothing about working on vehicles what would the K & N Filter and a MAF adapter do for you?

I have just the K&N air filter on my Mariner Premier V-6 it has enabled me to get about 1 to 1 1/2 better milage. I have gotten as much as 27.3 so far. Mariner has 4100 miles so far.

I am very interested in the K&N adapter with the cool air set up Where does it go to allow the cool air for the intake? I know that it has to get the cool outside air in order to realize the true importance of the different intake any how keep us all informed of the results.
