Any help appreciate!

When parking my car and turning it off, I can't remove my key from the ignition. Everything I have found so far references a relay between the shifter and the ignition. So if this relay is bad the signal set from the shifter to the ignition signaling that the car is in park is not happening, thus I can't fully turn my key to remove.

In the mean time my solution has been to remove the ignition fuse, then I can remove the key. Problem is the fuse is needed to start the car. So I put it back in. Then the next time I need to remove the key, I am faced with the same issue.

Basically, I am looking for some feedback to ensure, I wont get swindled at the dealership. I

Also, if this is the problem I believe I need a professional to ensure I don't mistakenly deploy my airbag.

Sounds like a stuck relay that needs to be replaced.
