1964 Mercury Monterey Trans slips out of reverse
Hi everyone! I have a 1964 Mercury Monterey with a 390 and a MX Trans. If I put it in reverse and don't step on the gas it will back up. If I step on the gas it will try to back up but then it feels like it goes into neutral. As soon as I let off the gas it goes right back in. Any Ideas? the car has been sitting for many years if that helps.
