I have an 06 mountaineer and only the botton two strips are working to defrost the window. I checked all of the fuses and they're all good, plus I'm assuming that it's not split up between fuses. Is there something wrong with the defrost plugs that attach to the wondow?

 

Sounds like there is a break in the defroster strip. They sell repair kits at your local parts place.

 

finding the break may be difficult as a very small hairline crack in the conductor can cause it not to function. you may need a jeweler's glass to see it (or some high magnification surface type magnifying glass).

 

You can usually find the break where the defroster stops working. Right?
