So i have been having the wotrst time with my truck. just one day it wouldnt start. cranks but doesnt start. ok ive since found out it is a PATS issue, key not being read. need new ecu and transponder. anyhow. in my spare parts, i came aCROSS A SHORTER FUSEABLE LINK, IT IS ORANGE. sorry caps. Orange wire with the fuse maybe six inches from the end and its cut. i dont remember where this is from. vague memories of cutting it. my question is,

are there any orange wire fuseable links in the engine bay or driver side under steering wheel on an 01 mountaineer? maybe it is the reason for my problems, i cut and forget?
