2002 Mountaineer - Backup Sensor Problem

My backup sensor stopped working. The off light just stays on all the time. When I press the button to turn the sensorss on it just shuts back off. I'm not sure where the fuse is or the relay. I cleaned off the sensors and the little gap around the sensor is clean also. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.


Also looking for a good place to get some rims for my truck. Any suggestions for reasonable priced places is greatly appreciated.

sounds like it may be a controller issue. if one of the sensors has gone bad, been disconnected/damaged, it may not work. You may have to get a dealer to check this one out since this is still a relatively new technology and there''s not near as much info on it as there is with other things (like cruise control).
