Hi, I'm new...thanks for having me. I've searched high and low on the web and on my rig for this sensor. If you know where it is located please help!


I have a 2000 Mountaineer, 2WD V8 5.0L

 

i belive the dpfe sensor is on the backside of the intake manifold the best way to find it would be to get a new one it will be very easy to locate if you know what it looks like.

 

By gosh I think your right. I followed the vacuum lines and they lead back there. Looks like a total *itch to get to!! As is everything on this truck. I didnt realize you could squeeze so much crap under a hood until I started wrenching on it.
