HELP!! wiper blades stopped working need power....

check the relays for the wipers too (#1 and 3 on the under hood fuse/relay panel). Get someone else to flip the wiper control while you listen intently to the relays (feeling the top can help as well as sometimes you can feel the click). leave the engine off. If the relay is clicking, then there is power probably power going to the wipers. This can be further verified with a voltmeter on the connector to the wiper motor. If there is definitely power going to the wipers, then it was just a coincidence that the wiper motor died when you put the radio in. There should be absolutely no way to break the wires to the wipers when messing with the radio. If the relays are not clicking, they may be bad. The switch may also be bad. It's almost never the wires that are the issue.
It would also be good to check the major fuses under the hood like the acc main fuse.
