Default need new mirror!

Hi all, I was a bonehead and broke my rear view mirror in my 06 Mountaineer, it has the compass and everything as you all know. The electronic portion of it is fine it's just the glass thats broken. Can anyone recomend a place BESIDES the dealer that would sell these for a reasonable price, can the glass just be replaced? Any help would be great....

I would think that any autoglass place might be able to help you out. but since many of these things are molded together during production and can't really be taken apart short of breaking the case most of the time, you may have to replace the entire assembly.

Do you know of a good site that sells these specifically? I called the dealer just to get a quote to see where the prices should begin, there are also other mirrors that I can buy but I need the "input" jacks on it so it will register direction on the dash, right now it just shows two "--" where there should be N,S,E,W and so forth.

I've looked around my normal suspects, but can't find that mirror. I can find door mirrors like crazy. I'm thinking that unless you can find it at a junk/salvage yard, you'll probably have to go with a dealer. If you have more than one dealer in the area, call around, their prices may vary.
