2004 Mercury Mountineer. Replacement of rear shocks are confusing as hell. The rear Strut assembly has a shroud around the front mountingbolt and i cant figure out how to get around it.Asked the person at the parts store if thereis a special tool, however no help there. I have tried beating, cutting, prying and cussing.....nothing seems to be working. I would be much appreciative if someone out there could help me.
