Default All 4 windows won't roll down or up. Fuse is ok!

1996 Mercury Mystique 4 cyl sedAn.
What can I check now? I saw no relay in the manual dealing with the windows, just the 40 amp fuse 3 spots in from the end under the dash which looks fine. The drivers side 4 button window switch will not roll them up or down and the passenger door switches will not roll windows down. Window lock is off. Help please, what can I check/do?

Thanks doug.
There is one relay I can't seem to locate. Express down relay. Anyone know where this is?

There are no lights on the drivers side 4 button control for the windows but the passenger side door, the window switch is lite up but does not roll down window. Back seat I have not looked at yet. I am going to start at the front drivers door and pull the panel and start there and try to eliminate problems one at a time. Not very good at electrical, but the car is not worth the hours a shop would probably charge to fix.
Does anyone know if each window has its own ground or do they share one ground and if so, where is it?
any help would be appreciated.
Thank
Dj

Well, I figured this out. Was not much work in the end. I took off drivers side panel. Found a relay fuse in the door (that was fine)
Both clips going to window switch had been disconnected. Plugged that in and all windows now worked but it must have been unplugged for a reason so i kept Playing with the windows more and sure enough, the drivers sided started doing reverse movement to switch direction then got stuck open.
I assumed the motor was fine and was a switch or relay problem. After D windows stopped working I could hear the relay in the door clicking so I went to wreckers and pulled a switch and a relay fuse. $15 later, the problem was solved. Never did need the relay and windows are working great again.
