any one know how to get at switch that controls fan speed for a/c? It is stuck on high speed - but works either on or off intermittently. So I must get to it to replace it. Mine is a 1996 Mystique.

 

hmmmm.... i can look in the junkyard for ya and i think it would cost me $5-$10 plus my $2 admission. we have all kinds of Mercurys i can grab parts from.

Could be the big resistor package in the passenger side footwell area. When they go bad they cause similar symptoms I think.
