'98 Mystique, 2.5 V6, Automatic. Owned for 6 weeks.
While looking around underneath the engine/trans area today I noticed a loose vacuum line on the driver's side right behind the intake air box area. I cannot find where it goes. The other end goes under the air box and battery toward the front of the engine and connects to a nipple at the top of a black metal housing cover on the front (radiator) side of transmission. I really need some help with this one if some one could look at theirs and tell me where it goes.

Standing in front of the car on the driver's side, if you look straight down the left side of the battery (from the front), you will see the vacuum line attached with a crimped clamp to the top of that black metal housing. If you follow it back, where does it go????? The hose is about 18" long end to end.
