Recently bought a 95 mercury villager. Aware it may have battery issues or turn over issues (not sure BF went and got it). Put a new battery in it and reversed the hookups by accident. Went and had the battery charged and replaced the ALT fuse. Started up fine but has stalled out the last two times we drove it while in idle. Mind you we did run the heat. Had to unplug the battery this second time as the headlights wouldn’t shut off after stalling in our drive way. Not sure what to do! Can’t afford to take to a shop.
