Block Heater
#2
im assuming that you want to install a coolant block heater not an oil heater...from my experience with my 3.8L engine i had to drain the coolant... remove e freeze plug (expansion plug) and installed an after market heater...(most have a rubber plug with a center bolt)...of course you should check tat you choose a freeze plug that is easiest to get to..also one that will not allow the cord on the heater to get entangled into belts ,pullys. or onto hot exhaust...once you push the heater into the freeze plug hole tighten the center bolt and fill the block with coolant...always check for leaks..hope this helps
